Between catching waves at Swamis beach in high school and living the high life in Park City, I stumbled upon my actual game plan. Coming from a dynasty of pool moguls—my folks ran a warranty station and built swimming havens—I toyed with the idea of joining the family trade. My dad, a pool-cleaning guru since 17, tossed in a word of caution about the industry’s seductive waves.

Yet, here I was, a budding cosmetologist, inexplicably magnetized to the pool world, moonlighting in insurance membership sales. Balancing the glam of salon life with the chlorine scent of a pool supply job, I took a dive into the pool industry full-time, buoyed by the real connections with fellow pool aficionados. It wasn’t long before I was brewing my own insurance concoction.

I can still feel the butterflies from pitching to a room of stone-faced suits in San Diego. But, armed with nothing but grit and a splash of charm, I championed the SPPA cause, fueled by a drive to be the lifeguard for pool pros. Thus, the SPPA Alliance was born, on a mission to pool together top-notch insurance deals and stellar service.

Fast forward, and the SPPA program is making waves, renowned for its rock-solid insurance coverage. It’s our personal flair and dedication to our pool family that sets us apart. As SPPA expands, my commitment to diving deep into the insurance needs of pool professionals stays unshaken.
